Join us in Bexhill for some fantatic VE Day 80th Anniversary celebrations!
Thursday 8th May 2025
VE DAY 80
9am - Witness the Town Crier's proclamation and the raising of the VE Day 80 glag on the Colonnade.
11am - Commemorate VE Day during a 2-minute silence at the Central War Memorial and Little Common War Memorial.
12pm - Gather at the Colonnade to listen to the touching sound of bagpipes.
2pm-3pm - Come and see The Battle Ukulele Band at the Coronation Bandstand.
6:30pm - Hear the bells of churches around the town ring in celebration.
9:30pm - Join us in lighting the Trafalgar Beacon on Galley Hill as the Nation sings.

12:45pm - 4:15pm - Bexhill Heritage hosts the VE Day 80th Anniversary Concert featuring the Royal British Legion Band at the Coronation Bandstand on the seafront.
