Visitors are invited to enjoy the 59th annual Sussex Guild Contemporary Craft Show at Michelham Priory House & Gardens, taking place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July. For nearly six decades, Sussex Guild members have showcased their work at the historic site, and this year's three-day event promises another inspiring celebration of contemporary craft and design.
Exhibitors will be located within the magnificent Elizabethan Barn and in open-fronted marquees set across the picturesque lawns. A wide variety of contemporary crafts will be on display, including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, leatherwork, stone carving, pewter, woodwork, glass, furniture and printmaking.
Throughout the weekend, several makers will be demonstrating their skills, offering visitors the opportunity to watch jewellery making, woodturning, embroidery, quilting and pottery techniques in action.
With many unique handmade pieces available to purchase, visitors may also find something special to take home.
Tickets for the Contemporary Craft Show include admission to Michelham Priory House & Gardens, allowing visitors to explore the beautiful gardens, historic Tudor house and children's playground during their visit.
Refreshments will be available from the newly opened Blue Door Café, a beautifully transformed space serving homemade lunches, sweet treats and expertly crafted barista coffee.
For further information on exhibitors, please visit the Sussex Guild website.
Tickets for this event are available at a discounted rate of £12 for adults and £6 for children.
