Film screening at Hastings Museum & Art Gallery: The Giant Claw (1957)
3 pm, Saturday 9th March
"When a strange flying object is spotted, it is believed to be a UFO. However, it turns out to be an extraterrestrial bird made of anti-matter which leaves a trail of death and destruction in its wake."
Join us for a relaxed screening of The Giant Claw in the Durbar Hall as part of the public programme for The Ellen Prebble Exhibition. Released in 1957, this iconic movie made extensive use of puppetry, which has inspired Ellen's work, including a painting and sculpture that feature in her exhibition.
Project Art Works will host a drop-in activity in The Long Gallery alongside the event for anyone who would like some time out of the screening.
The film is 75 minutes long and is unrated. Tickets cost £2 and are available via Hastings Museum & Art Gallery website.
