The Hastings Lifeboat Crew are hosting a FREE concert to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). It's not just a concert — it's an historic occasion, marking two centuries of lifesaving courage and dedication.
14:45-15:00: Section 5 Drummers will lead a procession from Butler's Gap to The Stade for the official opening ceremony of Hastings Old Town Carnival week.
Local Bands and Personalities: Enjoy performances from some of the best local talent.
Unique 1824 Moment: Don't miss a very special segment at exactly 18:24 involving the Hastings Bonfire Society, our brave lifeboat crew, and an interactive moment designed for everyone to participate in, put a tear in your eye and a lump in your throat!
Community Spirit: This concert also kicks off the Hastings Old Town Carnival Week, starting two days early to join us in this milestone celebration.
All donations from the evening will support the incredible ongoing work of the RNLI, helping to ensure that our lifeboat crews can continue to save lives at sea. Proceeds will also be shared with the Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat.
Come along for great music, community engagement, and a chance to support a noble cause. Bring your friends and family to experience the strength and heart of Hastings, all in support of a heroic legacy. See you there!
