Launched to wide acclaim in 2025, Sussex Craft Week celebrates the region's excellence in craftsmanship and its place as the hub of the contemporary craft revival. The second edition takes place 20-28 June 2026, with an ambitious programme of over 60 events in venues across Sussex.
In East Sussex, discover MarketPlace events Hastings Craft Weekend and Hastings International Ceramics Fair at the Observer building, showcasing work for sale by leading designer-makers. Head to Rye to visit sculptor David Cruickshank in his enchanting garden studio, or take part in a colour making course with Polly Bennett in Rolvenden. Emma Mason Gallery in Eastbourne presents an exhibition of mobile sculptures by Richard Mason, inspired by original prints by Modern artists Alistair Grant and Peter Green, and Alfriston transforms into a 'Craft Town' with curated window displays throughout the high street and pop-up events.
