About

About the Event

Stereo MCs make their Hastings debut for a high-energy night of electronic groove, sing along and conscious hypnotic rhythm. They are an integral part of the sound movement that helped define a generation of UK dance culture. This is a rare chance to see them up close in an intimate room built for movement and connection, not spectacle. Expect deep beats, live vocals, big communal lift, and a crowd ready to go all-in as the year winds to a close.

About the Artist

Stereo MCs are nothing less than pioneers of British electronic and hip-hop crossover — a group whose influence stretches from the rave era through to today's live dance culture. Fronted by Rob Birch and Nick Hallam, they broke through globally with Connected, cementing a style that blends organic instrumentation, conscious lyricism, and deep rhythmic pulse.

About the Promoter

This show is presented in partnership with High Tides, the Hastings-based promoters behind a growing wave of landmark shows in the town — including Third World, Mad Professor, Scientist, and Stereo MCs. High Tides specialise in artist-led, community-rooted events that bring heavyweight music culture into independent spaces, giving Hastings audiences access to world-class acts without having to leave the coast.
