Opening night of Barefoot Opera's sparkling production of Rossini's La Cenerentola (Cinderella), touring this summer.
A dynamic retelling of the classic tale of Cinderella, this is Rossini's effervescent comedy with a contemporary twist.
Expect all the hallmarks of a Barefoot Opera show: a dynamic international cast of young singers, a small on-stage band delivering the score, complete with double bass and clarinet, and a contemporary take on a classic tale.
Accompanying the international cast of young professional singers on stage will be members of the Seaview Choir, Voiceworks, and young people from across Hastings and St. Leonards.
Please note there is a further performance at Rye Creative Centre on August 19th.
With support from Arts Council of England.
Tickets £15 from the Barefoot Opera website.
