Rock 'N' Blues Charity Event

About

Rock 'N' Blues is the 3rd White Rock Theatre Charity Music Night. This year the proceeds raised will be shared between Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and the Judy Beard Unit at Conquest Hospital.

The evening will be hosted by Tim McArthur who has been a panto favourite at White Rock Theatre for the last 2 years. He is a talented actor, writer and director and hosts a radio show on Men's Radio Station.

Joining him on stage will be 3 local bands. By popular demand back for a 3rd year are Rockin' Ambassadors who, since they played the event last year have changed part of their line-up, but they are as popular and busy performing as ever. At the beginning of April, they played on the main stage for Beatles Day. This band never disappoints and they love performing.

Stormy-T and Bluesman's Lane are a four piece Hastings based Blues band. They play traditional Rhythm and Blues, Swing, Blues Funk and Classic Blues from the 1940s to the 2000s. The band formed last year due to a mutual love of traditional Blues and Swing music.

Last, but not least, Strange World are going to play. Just over a year ago this 3 piece band got together and play rock and other genres. Despite only getting together recently they are playing many local gigs and they also performed on Beatles Day and were warmly received.
