This is the first gathering of its kind in Hastings, bringing together local voices and respected visiting speakers to explore psychedelics in a way that is grounded, nuanced, and rooted in community. It's a chance to be part of something new: a day of shared inquiry that feels both intimate and expansive, connected to place while in conversation with wider cultural, scientific, and ancestral perspectives.
Across the day, we'll explore psychedelics from multiple angles, including scientific and psychological perspectives; ancestral, ritual, and lineage-based traditions (including iboga and Bwiti); politics, policy, harm reduction, and access; sexuality, intimacy, embodiment, and relational practice; and integration, somatics, and community care
