Age 7+ Drop off * £20 per child
Hastings Contemporary welcome back Press Play Films to lead an Anne Ryan inspired workshop, enlivening children's imaginations through film and animation.
Children will work in pairs using clay and paper cutouts and animation software, to produce animations inspired by Ryan's highly coloured, constructed "Cut Out" paintings, which focus on figures engaged in a variety of physical activities – dancing, posing, swimming, frolicking in the woods!
Attendees will produce models and sets using animation clay, paper, and animation theatres, moving to laptops, cameras and dedicated animation software to photograph their models and produce their animations. Time permitting, add a music track, titles and credits.
Children will receive final mp4 copies of their completed animations following the workshop via We Transfer.
* This workshop is drop off so you can leave your children safely in the gallery once you have filled in an Emergency Contact Form. For more information, email info@hastingscontemporary.org and visit pressplayfilms.co.uk.
Limited places available.
