The People's Pavilion: What was on?
Explore old editions of the Bexhill Observer from Bexhill Museum’s stored collections, to find and record DLWP event listings.

Bring your Own Stories - we're listening!
Sound artist Mary Hooper and her team will have microphones at the ready to talk to you about your memorable moments at the Pavilion.

Building Tour
Join volunteer Ron Wood on a special tour of the building, exploring the history of the Pavilion.

Pop up Bexhill Museum
Bexhill Museum will be bringing a variety of objects from the opening of the Pavilion in 1935 for you to look at and talk about, as well as an opportunity to listen to the oral histories about DLWP that they have recorded over the years.
10.30am-3pm
Sing out for the De La Warr Pavilion!
Join Bexhill’s own gospel and soul choir to sing out in celebration of DLWP’s birthday. Come and make a joyful sound with the choir, accompanied by a live band. no singing experience necessary.
4-6pm
Birthday cards to the Pavilion, made by children and families from schools and Art Sundays will be hung up for you to admire through out the day.
CAFÉ BAR & KITCHEN
What’s a birthday without a cake? The Café Bar will be celebrating our birthday with homemade decorated cakes available to buy in the Café.
The bar will be open until 7pm to join us for a drink after the singing workshop. There’ll be some surprise special offers on the day – keep an eye open for further announcements!
