World-class Mongoose BMX team to host youth jam event at legendary Source Park, Hastings
Mongoose, a brand of Dorel Industries, Inc. (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), announced today their professional BMX freestyle team is heading to Source Park in Hastings, UK on May 18th to host the brand’s first annual Mongoose Am Jam. The event – which will feature American riders Pat Casey, Kevin Peraza and Nikita Ducarroz, and UK riders Greg Illingworth, Ben Wallace, and Cam Peake – will give local youth the chance to meet, ride with, and learn tricks from the Mongoose team.
The all-day Am Jam event will be split into two sessions: a morning clinic with young riders, who will get to meet the pros, ride Mongoose bikes, and have the chance to win prizes; while the afternoon session will be a contest for local amateurs by age bracket for awards/prizes from the Mongoose team. The day will finish off with a Pro demo from the Mongoose athletes.
