Shakespeare's most popular magical tragedy was first performed by Bowler Crab Theatre in 2013 with subsequent sell out tours in 2018 and 2019.
The piece follows the Macbeths' war for the Scottish throne under the influence of witches – spells, prophecies, devious plots, bloody murders and a tragic love story. The play will be performed outdoors in aid of charity Arts on Prescription. Please bring a chair or picnic blanket. Cakes and hot drinks will be sold during the interval. Feel free to bring a picnic but please note by rule of Art in the Park: no alcohol, no smoking, no dogs allowed.
