Following on from the success of previous Open Workshops at the DLWP, Day Levale and the Lifted Up Community Choir invite you to experience the joy of singing.
There will be a vocal warm up to start, and three-part gospel harmony singing led by musician and choir leader Day Levale. A combined choir workshop for both adults and youth voices. You will learn and perform a few songs alongside each other during the course of the two-hour session.
No audition required and you don't have to be able to read music to join in.
Under 16s are welcome but must accompanied by an adult (who can either sing or just sit and watch).
This is an open workshop so anyone can drop in and watch at any time – the doors will be open – but to get the full experience we advise you come on time and stay for the whole session!
