We are pleased to invite you to the first chamber recital of the HPO 2022-2023 season. This wonderful evening of music is presented by the HPO Ensemble, comprising nine of our principal wind and string players.
We have selected a diverse programme of music to begin the season - four distinctive and contrasting chamber works with plenty of rich history behind them.
The work by VILLA-LOBOS is included as part of our initiative this season to embrace links with Brazil and works by Brazilian composers in recognition of the Brazilian heritage of our Artistic Director Marcio da Silva during this year in which Brazil marks the 200th anniversary of its independence.
