About

On your marks. Get set. Go!

Hastings' 5 mile race is returning, just in time for it's 15th anniversary.

There's a lot to celebrate as the race has raised over £56,000 for St. Michael's Hospice.

This year, the flat, accurately-measured route includes a loop of the town's historic pier for the first.

This event is part of the Sussex Grand Prix 2022 race calendar, early entry is advised if you wish to partake before entries sell out! The race usually attracts up to 600 participants.

There's a full range of prizes available, including cash prizes for breaking male and female course records.

Free children’s races will take place on the pier between 11.15 and 12 noon.

There are also discounts for participants on the day. Grab a concession ticket for Hastings' funicular railways, 10% off RBE Trampolines and 20% off admission to the Smugglers Caves and Hastings Aquarium. Pop along to George Street for 10% off handmade chocolates with a twist at Only Coco and Whistle Drago Bar, you'll also find a 10% off drinks at Muffin Break in Priory Meadow shopping centre. Or if you'd like to really treat yourself, head to dinner at Bexhill's Sobremesa Restaurant, where you'll receive a 15% discount.

See here for all participating offers.
