Enjoy a variety of delicious summer fish dishes from local restaurants along with a range of the best produce the area has to offer. Locally made wine will also be available, as well as a beer festival, and the fishermen will be showcasing their skills and their catch.
There will be non-stop live music and entertainment, and cooking demos, craft and fish related activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The Midsummer Fish Fest started in 2014 and has proved a hugely popular event. Originally it was funded by the European Fisheries Fund, through the Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG), but that funding has now ended. To allow the festival to continue, we have introduced a small entrance charge of £1 in advance or £2 on the gate, for the whole weekend (under 18s go free).
