This is a series of three monthly workshops for young people between 15 – 25 to explore textiles with artist Lara Hailey. Please book once to attend all three sessions.
Join artist Lara Hailey to make a stitched textile collage, using the Claudia Alarcón & Silät collectives weavings as inspiration. The abstract textile pieces will focus on the symbolic nature of colour and geometric forms, whilst exploring the effects of scale and mark making through stitch. This work will be showcased in our rooftop Foyer on September 14 2025.
The works created during these sessions will be displayed in our Rooftop Foyer on 14 September 2025.
WHAT IS BLUEPRINT ZONE?
