There comes a day when you look around and wonder "is the world a raging bin fire, or is it perimenopause?" The answer, my friend, is "yes".
Authentic, curious, and gleefully irascible, storyteller and comedian Desiree Burch leads a madcap voyage through the Middle Ages – AKA the mid-life crisis, and its mandatory metamorphosis – in her new stand-up hour. Desiree brings both childlike wonder and crone-like wit to the experiences of losing sleep, relevance, knee cartilage, oestrogen, youth, and illusions in a laugh-packed hour that celebrates the fury and freedom found when you've accepted that time has ruined your plans, but roll up your sleeves to fight it anyway.
Desiree Burch is an American comedian who has appeared across the UK's biggest comedy shows, including Taskmaster, The Mash Report, Live At The Apollo, Travelman, The Last Leg, QI, and more. She's also the wisecracking narrator of Netflix's iconic guilty pleasure Too Hot to Handle.
