Join Inroads Productions and writer Sarah Clifford for a series of free creative writing workshops inspired by the story, themes and legacy of the Bayeux Tapestry.
Taking inspiration from this iconic medieval masterpiece, currently on display at the British Museum, participants will explore the people, events and cultural changes surrounding the Norman Conquest. Through creative activities and discussion, the workshops will examine themes of identity, power, language and belonging, while also uncovering the often-overlooked role of women in the creation and preservation of history.
Open to local schools and community groups, these engaging sessions offer a unique opportunity to connect with one of the most significant events in English history through creativity and storytelling.
