Join Park Ranger Nick Hennessy for a short walk through Alexandra Park formal Gardens ending at Shornden Meadow SNCI (Site of Nature Conservation Interest). The meadow is not open to the public as it’s a sensitive conservation area, this is a great opportunity to see some of the wonderful work carried out by volunteers, community groups and the Ranger service. A fascinating walk covering the history of the park, a Rangers eye view and a peak behind the scenes of this multi award winning heritage green space.
Easy to moderate walking.
