The Gallivant

The Gallivant is a Restaurant with Rooms across the road from the dunes and the beautiful sandy beach beyond. Inspired by the coastal motels you might find in California, the Gallivant is a relaxing hideaway from the stresses and strains of modern life where grown-ups come to dine, dream and relax. There is great food, amazing beds and a lovely little spa treatment room in the garden. The team are there to make you smile.
Jamie Guy runs the kitchen, serving modern British food that highlights the best locally sourced ingredients in our relaxing restaurant that has a Nordic/New England feel. 95% of the fresh ingredients are sourced within a ten-mile radius of the Gallivant.
There are twenty beautifully calm and relaxing bedrooms, decorated with an eye to the Hamptons, all with supremely comfortable beds featuring king or super-king Hypnos mattresses, plump goose/duck down pillows and duvets and the best 300 count-linen.
The coastal gardens are for the exclusive use of our guests and home to the Beach Hut, a spa treatment room and peaceful oasis to enjoy a deeply relaxing massage or facial. Prices for a room start for £95 and always include a lovely continental breakfast table of homemade items and 4pm tea and homemade cake.
