About

A night of fire, folklore and unforgettable live performance
We're delighted to welcome MR FOX to this year's Wassail line-up! Known for their dark, theatrical and immersive performance style, MR FOX bring something genuinely unique to the stage. With only a handful of shows each year, opportunities to see them perform are few and far between, making this a rare chance to experience their spellbinding show right here in East Sussex.

But that's not all! We're bringing together a fantastic collection of performers to make this year's Wassail a truly memorable celebration.

Joining MR FOX will be Black Swan Morris, Ragged Phoenix Morris, Devil Stick Peat, the Gallyard Tudor Dancers and the Pentacle Drummers, each bringing their own distinctive character, energy and atmosphere to the event.

From traditional dance to wonderfully unconventional theatrical performance, there'll be plenty to capture your imagination throughout the evening.

There's plenty more to enjoy throughout the evening. Chiddingly Parish Bonfire Society will be back, running their fully licensed bar, while a fantastic selection of traders will be joining us, with seven already booked. A range of catering outlets is also expected, so you can grab something delicious to eat while soaking up the atmosphere.

Whether you're coming for the performances, the food and drink, or simply the unique spirit of Wassail, there's every reason to gather your friends and make a night of it.

This year's Wassail is proudly sponsored by Storymaker Mead. We're hugely grateful for their support in helping make this year's event possible.
