The RAFA Wings Appeal Walk

Our RAF Association branches are coming together to raise funds for the Wings Appeal, helping veterans and serving members of the Royal Air Force, Commonwealth Air Forces and their families.

By supporting the Wings Appeal, you are helping the RAF Association continue its mission by ensuring that those who have given so much on our behalf are able to lead the dignified, fulfilled and independent lives they deserve.

Join us for a sponsored 'Wings Appeal Walk' in Bexhill-on-Sea on Sunday the 20th of September. A 3-mile route will be marked out on the seafront, between the Angling Club near Galley Hill and the Beach Garden on West Parade.

This is an inclusive event for the entire community on flat, even ground. As such, it is suitable for all ages and abilities - everyone's welcome! You can walk or run the route for as long you would like.

The walk begins at 12 noon and ends at 3pm, with registration from 11:30am at the RAFA gazebo situated outside the Albatross Club.

Sign up online via this page by donating £10 and leaving your name and the word 'Register' in the comment.

You can also sign up in person, either at the Albatross Club or the Bexhill-on-Sea Town Council Hub on Western Road. (Please pay with cash if registering in person.)

You will receive a sponsorship pack when you sign up. Collect your participant's wrist band at registration on the day, and your certificate and finisher's medal when you finish at the RAFA Gazebo outside the Albatross Club.

We'd love to see as many people as possible on the day, so do get involved and spread the word!
