Pevensey Court House & Gaol is running a VE Day- themed children's writing competition.
You could write a story, a poem, a factual piece - in fact anything you like! You're invited to submit up to 250 words on the subject of Pevensey and The War, or Pevensey's Big Street Party.
There are three age groups, with three prizes in each group:
5-7 years
7-11 years
11-14 years
Prizes include books, posters and tokens, and everyone who enters will get a certificate, to be picked up when the museum reopens.
The deadline is 1st of June. Please send entries to Pevensey Court House, High Street, Pevensey, BN24 5LG, or by email to pevenseycourthouse@gmail.com. Make sure you include your age group and address.
