The wonderous Moon is a very interesting and mysterious object. Opportunity to join us for a workshop to discover lots about the Moon plus make your own model of the Moon, create some craters, learn some fascinating facts and design and build your own Moon lander. As you discover more while enjoying this fascinating workshop at the Observatory Science Centre, you get to visit one of our huge telescopes.
On this workshop you will find out just how mysterious the Moon actually is. Sometimes you see it at night and sometimes you can see it during the day but why does it rise and set at different times? This year it is going to be full Moon and if the skies are clear, we even get to look at it through one of our telescopes.
This a something you will never forget.
