Colin McLean

About

Dr. McLean is an Associate Professor of History who lectured at Queen's Bader International Study Centre, Herstmonceux Castle for 15 years before starting his own history based company. His speciality is British history and archaeology. From 2007 to 2015 he explored the archaeology of the Herstmonceux Castle Estate, and was the director of the school's Field School in British Archaeology. In 2014 he and his team, assisted by some very enthusiastic students from Canada, excavated land adjacent to St. Nicolas churchyard, and he will show some of the items found and use the talk as a way to 'launch' their display in the church.
