With historic towns like Rye and Battle, it’s hard not to feel the magic in 1066 Country when you're popping into independent shops and nestling into a cosy pub beneath the festoon lights.

For big evenings out, we've got festive favourites like the Kent and East Sussex Railway's Santa Specials and Christmas at Bedgebury and seasonal events to put in the calendar, like Illuminated Battle Abbey and Christmas at Bewl Water.
