Our Basic Chocolatier Skills course lasts a full day (including 2 short breaks in the morning and afternoon and a longer break for lunch).
It covers:
- A history of chocolate and an introduction to how it is made
- A tasting session
- How to temper chocolate: theory and practice
- Making moulded chocolates
- How to make ganache: theory and practice
- Making truffles
Each session can accommodate up to 6 adults (or mature older teens). No prior experience is required. Two hot drinks and lunch are included in the price. All materials and equipment provided and participants take all their new chocolatey creations home.
This course is £100 per attendee.
