Astronaut Academy is an opportunity for fun, half day workshops for children for either ages 6 - 8 years or 9-11 years.
So...what does it take to become an astronaut? We will investigate with some exciting activities to discover the challenges faced when reaching space.
Aimed at encouraging anyone who is curious about space, the Universe and astronauts.
Investigate the 'little to giant' steps taken to becoming an astronaut and working on the International Space Station. We will be doing experiments exploring the senses and discussing the effects of microgravity in space. We will also be thinking about what is in our Universe.
We will share ideas how science has helped people launch into space and what this has achieved.
