Rye Bay E-bikes is a small, family run electric bike company currently based just south of Rye, towards Rye Harbour.
We offer electric bike sales, servicing and our very popular hires. Rye Bay E-bikes specialises in offering a range of e-bikes at entry level prices with a personal service and aftercare. Visit the website to see what’s on offer or head to the showroom, where you can also have a test ride. Limited parking is available on site. Open seven days a week during the summer, winter visits are by appointment only. Another service on offer is electric bike hires and tours whether you want to follow one of the recommended routes or arrange a bespoked itinerary, there are a number of options and electric -bikes available. Individuals or groups can be catered for and the local guides can take you along routes suitable to your abilities and interests. Alternatively you can just hire e-bikes by the hour, half day, day or longer and explore the local area at your leisure.
Helmets, high-viz, locks and guides will be provided. Packed lunches can be ordered and something special can be organised if you wish to provide a surprise of special something. One of the advantages of touring the area around Rye by e-bike is the extensive network of bicycle paths, as well as the mile upon mile of quite country lanes.
Whether you want to explore the stunning coastline, visit historic landmarks, check out local nature reserves or just potter about the picturesque countryside, there are plenty of options available right on the doorstep. There are also plenty of routes to suit riders of different abilities, from the novice up to more experienced.
