Boreham House

Boreham House is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian house built around 1796. It was originally the home of the local apothecary and is now an award winning 5* bed and breakfast.
The house is set in about 2½ acres with a formal, walled garden, woodland and a field, with the most magnificent views over the very best of Sussex countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The three large airy ensuite guest rooms are all tastefully decorated and furnished with sumptuous Vi-Spring beds and mattresses, finest Egyptian linen, large flat screen HD TVs and lovely bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers.
Guests also have private use of ‘the snug’, a quiet sanctuary to escape to and relax, and are welcome to make use of the gardens and grounds. In addition, there is a lovely self-catering cottage in what was originally the stables and coach house.
Whether you are looking for a restful break, a base for Glyndebourne Opera, country walks, visits to the coast, historic houses, castles and gardens, golf, fishing or just exploring the best of 1066 country, Boreham House is the ideal place to stay.
