Hastings Blue Reef Aquarium, Smugglers’ Adventure and Hastings Castle are joining forces on Sunday 17 July t celebrate the town’s Pirate Day spectacular.
Pirates’ Sunday will feature a variety of piratical quizzes and lots more swashbuckling fun and games.
As part of the fun, there will be pirate-themed events and trails, a ‘design your own flag’ workshop and colouring stations, plus visitors to Hastings Castle will be able to go on a ‘pieces of eight’ coin hunt to unscramble a mystery word.
Visitors will also be able to take part in treasure trails and competitions and staff at all the attractions will be in pirate fancy dress.
Blue Reef’s Leanna Lawson said: “Pirate Day is always a massive event for the town and it’s something we all look forward to.
“This year’s celebrations are set to be spectacular and we’re delighted that we are able to join the piratical party!” she added.
