This year's static display will feature the Classis Britannica, the naval arm of the Roman Legions. On display will be pieces of floor and wall tiles bearing the CLBR stamp recovered from Beauport Park bathhouse and from HAARG's recent excavations at Kitchenham Farm and Northiam.
HAARG personnel will be available at the History House part time to answer questions and give advice and further details regarding HAARG and its activities. For more details about HAARG and its activities visit our website at www.haarg.org.uk or follow us on Facebook
The History House is owned by the Old Hastings Preservation Society who will have their own displays in the same building.
Max 10 people per tour/session. Within a ten minute walk of the History House there is a large public car park at Rock a Nore, public toilets at The Stade and a number of cafés, pubs and restaurants in the High Street and along the sea front.
