Pevensey Parish Council encompasses the village of Pevensey and Pevensey Bay.
The Parish Council employs a part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Council.
The Parish Council has statutory duties and powers to provide services for the Parish. It provides allotments, a community building, community facilities including recreational areas and boat berths. The Council also helps run Visitor Information and Events in Pevensey.
