Twilight workshop for children ages 9-11 years. The Moon is a very interesting and mysterious object. Come and find out all about it. You will make a model of the Moon, create some very messy craters, learn some fascinating facts and design and build your own Moon lander. On this twilight workshop you also get to visit one of our huge telescopes and we may even get to look at the Moon.
On this workshop you will find out just how mysterious the Moon actually is. Sometimes you see it at night and sometimes you can see it during the day but why does it rise and set at different times? What is it made of and could we survive without it?
