Join us in Rye on FRIDAY 2ND DECEMBER for festive late night shopping and SATURDAY 3RD DECEMBER for a day of festive fun for the whole family!
Rye's unique spirit and atmosphere really comes to the fore at Christmas time. Its history and architecture create the perfect setting for a traditional Christmas with a twist, as shown by its wealth of independent shops, perfect to buy that special gift for that special someone or a short pre Christmas break in one of the many quality places to stay.
Friday 2nd December offers festive late night shopping, live music until 8pm and on Saturday 3rd December a full day of festive fun for the whole family.
On Saturday, four stages around the town will showcase live music and entertainment from 10.30 - 17.00. Santa arrives at the Town Hall at 10.00, distributing chocolate coins to children before heading for his grotto on the Strand Quay - book your visit on the festival website. Enjoy the Christmas trail around town, and festive food and drink from stalls set up outside many of the restaurants and cafes. News to be confirmed soon on the Christmas Pudding Race during the afternoon.
