Quarry Farm

Quarry Farm. Bodiam

Film Location

At Quarry Farm we have a 180 acre site.  The Kent and East Sussex Railway runs through the site, with Bodiam Station being within the farm.

The land flanks Bodiam castle offering opportunities to have the castle in the back ground.

The river Rother also runs along the bottom of the farm to the Brick Built Bridge beside the castle.

We have plantations of Poplar, and Willow.  There is a huge ancient Oak by the river, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

There are established Orchards, young orchards and spinneys of Mixed Broadleaf woodland.  The land goes from the wide valley floor beside the river steeply up the hill with large fields of grassland and amazing panoramic views.

We are large enough to have good road infrastructure on the site and plenty of parking.  We can also supply portable toilets to different areas of the farm and a water supply to a lot of it.

We offer accommodation on site in Shepherds huts, bell tents and in a couple of old Showman’s caravans.  These could also be used as locations.  There are little lean to shelters in some of the areas of woodland that offer shelter.  One is an old Hopper Cook house complete with a huge fire place.
