Close to the battle fields of 1066 Country are the castles of Hastings, Bodiam, Battle, Dover and Leeds but also surrounded by some of the greatest gardens of England; Sissinghurst, Dungeness and Great Dixter. There is a wealth of cultural, sporting and historic activities to keep you busy - alternatively just relax, sit back and enjoy the beach and mooching around the town of Rye.
Take a tour of our local vineyards - Gusbourne and Chapel Down to name a couple, and indulge in some fabulous local produce, from Rye Bay Scallops and Dungeness lobster to Romney Marsh lamb in some superb pubs and restaurants.
Let us be your guide, we look forward to welcoming you.
