Hastings Storytelling Festival will be back in October 2025 spanning over 2 weeks, Friday 17th October - Sunday 26th October.
The festival celebrates the art of storytelling through spoken word, dance, puppetry, parades, theatre, talks and digital media. Diverse and contemporary storytellers are programmed.
We're delighted to welcome our esteemed patron, Axel Scheffler, internationally acclaimed illustrator of The Gruffalo and over 200 children's books, to this year's Hastings Storytelling Festival.
Axel will exhibit his work, deliver engaging talks, and has chosen the festival's 2025 theme: 'Welcome' - a celebration of openness, imagination, and shared stories for all.
