Priory Meadow Shopping Centre has teamed up with Love Hastings (Hastings BID) this summer to run a fun nature-themed letter trail around Hastings town centre.
The trail, which is running from 19th – 30th August, allows participants to explore various parts of the town centre, seeking a letter in store windows, alongside a fascinating fact about the biodiversity in the town.
To take part in the activity, you'll need to collect a worksheet from Kids Stuff Toys, returning the completed worksheet to Shoezone on completion to claim a prize*
John Bownas, BID Manager, said: "There are many wonderful businesses tucked away in various parts of the town centre that go unexplored, finding these hidden gems is just one of the reasons to take part this summer."
"Not to mention the educational factor with finding out such interesting facts on the biodiversity in the town." he added.
Hastings is fortunate to have places such as Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve, the most prestigious area of biodiversity management in the Borough. Alongside Alexandra Park which has an area allocated to specifically providing nectar rich flowers to attract and provide food for bees and other insects.
