13th Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. 

Live Stream Day 1 of Stage 2 - Monday 27 February (10am, 2pm, 5.30pm) and the solo Semi Final Recitals of Wednesday 1 March (11am, 2.40pm and 6pm)

Thursday 23 February - Saturday 4 March

This thrilling competition returns bringing exceptional young pianists from around the world to compete for magnificent prizes.

Come along for the early stages of the competition through to the six recitals of the semi-final.  Culminating in the concert finale featuring three finalists performing with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. 

Stage 1                     Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 February

Stage 2                     Monday 27 February and Tuesday 28 February

Semi-final                Wednesday 1 March

Twelve individual recitals with a fantastic range of free choice repertoire.

The programme must include the specially commissioned 4 minute work written by the British composer Paul Patterson.  The remainder of the programme is own choice but must contain at least two composers from different periods.

Masterclass             Thursday 2 March

FINAL                       Friday 3 and Saturday 4 March with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra

Six finalists perform their complete concertos from Stage 1 over two evenings with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
