Dig out your walking boots and follow in the footsteps of William the Conqueror for this unique historic walk to raise funds for St Michael’s Hospice and the Rotary Club of Battle. Everyone welcome whether serious ramblers or families who wish to enjoy the beautiful Sussex countryside as well as gorgeous historic sites, ending with complimentary refreshments at Battle Abbey. There are three starting points – from Pevensey for the full walk of about 16 miles; from the Bulls Head at Boreham Street for a 9 mile walk or 4 miles from Steven’s Crouch.
