Alice Geraghty is committed to strengthening local places and growing the visitor economy. With an MSc in International Tourism Management, she brings strong insight into tourism trends, destination development and place‑based storytelling. Raised in the area, she’s passionate about showcasing this unique corner of England by championing its landscapes, heritage and local stories with authenticity and pride.

Sarah Broadbent

Chair of 1066 Country

Sarah is the Chair of destination marketing organisation 1066 Country and has been on its executive board since 2020. She also sits on the advisory board for the East Sussex, Brighton & Hove, and West Sussex Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP). She is a communications professional with a background in corporate PR, issue management and tourism. In 2010 she founded Swallowtail Hill, an award winning glamping business near Rye that successfully integrates conservation and eco-tourism. She is also a Director of Rye Chamber of Commerce, a Director of Rye News and Vice Chair of the Marshlink Community Rail Partnership. Sarah is passionate about sustainable tourism and supporting small businesses in the visitor economy.
