Hastings Winkle Club Jazz & Blues Festival

Saturday 2 June - Stade Open Space, Rock-a-Nore, Hastings

Gates open at 1.30pm

2pm to 2.45pm - The Jazz Heads

3pm to 4pm - The Roger Hubbard Band

4.30pm to 5.30pm - The Chantelle Duncan Band

6pm to 7pm - The Red Butler Blues Band

7.30pm to 9pm - Eat Logic

Working in the margins between soul and rave, Eat Logic is a British 'future jazz' project that combines electronic and acoustic elements with UK street idioms and improvisation. Their musicians have helped to define the sound of modern jazz with artists such as Courtney Pine, John McLaughlin, Chaka Khan and Hugh Masekela. Singer Mary Pearce guests alongside regulars Gordon Hulbert, Roberto Manzin, Luca Boscagin, Neville Malcolm, and Mark Mondesir.

Great music continues in participating pubs and bars around the Old Town.

Sunday 3 June - Stade Open Space, Rock-a-Nore, Hastings

Gates open at 10am

10.30am - Jazz & Swing Breakfast.    Meat or vegetarian breakfsat hash with fried egg and baked beans OR local smoked haddock kedgeree, bacon or sausage rolls.

Sit back and enjoy the music with the Swing Street Orchestra.

1.30pm to 2.30pm - Hexagonal

3pm to 3.45pm - Soul Town

4pm to 4.30pm - Kingsize Slim

4.30pm to 5.30pm - The Big Blue

6pm - 7.15pm - The Tony O'Malley Band - with very special guest Liane Carroll

Plus many gigs at selected Hastings' Old Town pubs with blues and jazz acts
