Gwyneth Herbert, Sat 24 June

Gwyneth Herbert is an award-winnng composer, lyricist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and record producer.

She has released six critically-acclaimed albums and toured across the world, sharing stages with artists such as Boy George and Amy Winehouse.

Drawing on influences from the works of folk, jazz, art pop, contemporary classical, avant-garde music and storytelling, she performs with a variety of instruments and a 'casually commanding voice'.

The past few months have seen her tour North America, headline the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room, perform her own work in concert with the London Sinfonietta, and voice the title role in Bristol Old Vic's hugely successful 6-week Christmas production of The Snow Queen, for which she was also the composer.  Eastenders fans may also have seen her song "Boxed Up Broken Heart" performed by the character Bex (for whom Gwyneth wrote) earlier this year.

Now based in Hastings, she is currently working on her much-anticipated 7th album and touring project Letters I Haven't Written.
