Music Month

Hastings & 1066 Country are normally associated with history and heritage, but a little known fact is the huge musical talent in abundance in the 1066 area.  Talented musicians, both professional and amateur, can almost always be found playing most evenings in the local pubs or at one of our many open-air events at any time of the year.

From 8 September to 31 October, 1066 Country will bring on the music.

Music is part of our cultural landscape and during this period there will be a celebration of talent across the length and breadth of 1066 Country.

This is a great time to go and see live music whatever your taste – from classical and choral to folk, rock and indie.   Or find yourself a gig at atmospheric venues across Hastings, Bexhill, Battle, Rye and more.

You’ll find all the listings here (coming soon!)

Upload your best gig photos or videos to Twitter or Instagram and tag with #musicmonth1066
