Out of concern for the safety and well-being of our volunteers, visitors, vendors and entertainers, we have, with deep regret, made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

The Festival kicks off with a brilliant weekend event next to the De La Warr Pavilion with over 50 stalls highlighting local Sussex produce and global seafood cuisine, English wine, arts & crafts, local charities, marine and wildlife conservation, cooking demonstrations, free angling coaching, dancing and a fantastic line up of live music.
This year's festival brings something special to the beach, with the Guinness World Record attempt for Largest Gathering of Mermaids on Saturday 7th September and special guests over the weekend, Les Derniers Trouveres.
Marine Conservation Society brings the wonders of our ocean and will share their vast experience of our marine environment. All helping to protect our sea life and beaches for generations to come!
The Angling Festival presents weeks of major competitions. The challenges start on 9th September. Competitions reflect all sea angling pursuits and with conservation in mind, our beach matches are all catch and release! See our web site for more details. Come visit this popular family event in a beautiful coastal setting.
