Battle's Big Weekend

Battle’s Big Weekend takes place over the weekend of June 24 and 25 at Battle's Recreation Ground. The weekend consists of something for all the family and is a becoming a major part of Battle’s event calendar.

The Annual Battle Carnival - 24 June - 11am

With lots of groups involved, the carnival will be a colourful and musical show from all the amazing and varied groups, clubs and organisations local to Battle.

Route: From the Recreation Ground the procession will move down High Street, turn at the Abbey Green and return to the Recreation Ground

A rolling Road Closure will be in place between 11am and 11.20am, then again at 11.30am to 11.50am - delays are to be expected.

Battle's Summer Fayre - 24 June - 11am-4pm  

Battle’s Summer Fayre brings together the traditional fun stalls (like coconut shy and tombolas); modern attractions such as bouncy castles and rides; displays from the various emergency services; dance groups; live singers; face painting and a tasty BBQ and bar!

An added attraction is the craft fayre in the marquee so there really is something for all the family.

Its FREE to come and visit (although bring some money to take part in some activities).

Live Music - 24 June - 7pm - Battle Recreation Ground

A huge night of music will take place under the cover of the large marquee.

A great live music line up - tickets are now available or subject to availability or (at an increased cost) you can buy on the door.

Adults £10; Juniors £5; Families £25 (2adults/3juniors)

Unfortunately you cannot bring your own food or drink in to the arena during the evening there is a covered area with a large bar and BBQ.

Dog Show - 25 June - 12noon-3pm

Registration from 11am - Judging from 12.30pm

Entry Fee - £1 per class

If you win a class please remember to come back for the Best in Show class at the end of the day.
Rosettes and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
