Battle Scarecrow Festival

In these times of Covid-19 and social distancing, we would like to give you the opportunity to participate in a free 'virtual' competition – and the chance to win one of the 5 prizes.

The theme is “MY RAINBOW SCARECROW”, in support of the fabulous work being done by the NHS and all our key workers – and to put a smile on the face of all who are now wondering what they can do next to pass the time! Put your Rainbow Scarecrow in your front garden, on your balcony or in your front window.

We would like you to take photos of your finished scarecrow and post them on Battle Festival's Facebook page. This is the link that will take you directly to the page dedicated to the Scarecrow Festival:

If you don’t do Facebook, then send us an email attachment and we will post it for you.

Please submit your photos by 31st May!

Now ... should you be well underway in creating your scarecrow for the Battle Scarecrow Festival originally planned for this summer (with the theme of The Wonderful World of Books), hang onto it! If we are all allowed to be out and about by the autumn, we shall be putting on the display as usual in and around Battle in October ... and there will be more prizes to be won!
